Overview

The Unified Inbox provides a per-sender view of all your email conversations. Select a sender from the dropdown to see their threads.

Using the Inbox

Sender Selection

Use the dropdown at the top to select which sender inbox to view. Each sender shows their unread count.

Thread Actions

  • Star - Flag important conversations
  • Archive - Move threads out of inbox (still searchable)
  • Mark Read/Unread - Track what needs attention

All actions are persisted to the database and sync across devices.

Composing Emails

Click the compose button to send a new email from any verified sender. For replies, click reply within a thread - threading headers are automatically added.

Automation Integration

The Inbox works with your Inbound Automation rules. Even with forwarding or webhooks configured, a copy is stored in your inbox.

Tip: Each message shows automated actions taken, like "Forwarded to team@..." or "Webhook Sent".

How It Works

Step 1: Receive

Someone sends an email to any of your inbound-enabled domains (e.g. support@your-startup.com).

Step 2: Processing

Transmit processes the email, executing configured actions and storing a secure copy in the sender's mailbox.

Step 3: View & Reply

The email appears in the Unified Inbox under the matching sender. Read, reply, or compose new messages as needed.
