Manage Senders

Create and manage verified sender identities for your email campaigns.

A sender is a verified email address on one of your domains. Each sender represents a unique "From" address you can use when sending emails.

Creating a Sender

Before creating a sender, verify your domain with DKIM records. Senders inherit verification status from their parent domain.

You can only create senders on domains that have completed DKIM verification.

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Senders
  2. Click Add Sender
  3. Select a verified domain from the dropdown
  4. Enter the local part (e.g., hello for hello@domain.com)
  5. Add a display name recipients will see
  6. (Optional) Configure a Reply-To address

Verification Status

Sender verification is tied to domain verification. There's no separate verification process for individual senders.

Syncing Status: If your domain was verified after creating a sender, use the Sync with Domain action to update the sender's verification status.

Default Sender

The default sender is automatically used when sending campaigns or using API endpoints that don't specify a sender.

Setting a Default: Click the actions menu (⋮) next to any sender and select Set as Default.

Only one sender can be default at a time. The previous default will be automatically unset.

Reply-To Configuration

The Reply-To field lets you route email replies to a different address than the sender.

Use CaseFrom AddressReply-To Address
Support Emailsnoreply@domain.comsupport@domain.com
Marketingcampaigns@domain.comhello@domain.com

Default Behavior: If Reply-To is not set, replies automatically go to the sender's email address.

Best Practices

Use Descriptive Display Names

✅ "Acme Support Team" or "Sarah from Acme" instead of ❌ "noreply@acme.com"

Configure Reply-To for No-Reply Addresses

If using noreply@ or donotreply@ addresses, always set a Reply-To so customers can reach you.

Verify Domains First

Complete domain DKIM verification before creating senders to ensure immediate verification.
