Volume Gate
Require you to "earn" a dedicated IP through volume. Postmark won't even discuss dedicated IPs until you're sending 300k+ emails/month.
Both tactics serve the same purpose: force you onto expensive plans or keep you on shared infrastructure where your fate is tied to strangers. It's part of the same playbook as linear scaling traps and overage fees.
