Reputation Isolation
Reputation isolation ensures that the email deliverability of one customer is not impacted by the sending behavior of others on the same platform. This is typically achieved through dedicated IPs or advanced multi-tenant isolation techniques.
Why It Matters
In shared hosting environments (like most cheap email providers), one "bad neighbor" sending spam can blocklist the shared IP, causing your legitimate emails to go to spam.
Reputation isolation prevents this by tracking and managing reputation at the customer level, not just the IP level.
Methods of Isolation
Dedicated IPs The traditional method. You get your own IP address. Good but expensive and requires manual warmup.
Multi-Tenant Isolation (Transmit) Advanced routing and tracking that isolates reputation logically without the cost of dedicated IPs. Bad senders are sandboxed immediately.
